Growing up in the United States, Katlyn discovered her passion for eventing through the US Pony Club. She competed up to the Advanced (CCN 4) level with her Young Rider mount, Clifton Peekachu.
Katlyn then went on to groom and ride for some of the top names in the industry, including Jonathan Holling, Karen and David O’Connor, and Marilyn Little. During this time, she gained invaluable experience by being part of the US team, grooming at prestigious events such as Kentucky, Aachen, and Luhmühlen.
In 2018, Katlyn relocated to Australia to start a new chapter with her husband. She currently competes two horses at the FEI level—King and Falaise—while also bringing along a couple of young horses just starting their careers. Katlyn manages the family’s boutique thoroughbred and sport horse breeding and training farm while raising her daughter, Mackenzie.
Katlyn first connected with Kingsfield Equestrian in 2019 when she purchased her first Chiberta Lab saddle for her off-the-track horse, Roy. As her team has evolved, Katlyn has expanded her collection to include several Devoucoux saddles and various tack to support her competition horses.
Katlyn's dedication to the Devoucoux brand made her the natural choice to become Kingsfield Equestrian’s first sponsored rider. The exceptional quality of products from Devoucoux and Kingsfield Equestrian aligns perfectly with her goal of producing and competing with top-level horses.
